Welcome

I've got to be honest with you, I have no idea what a good welcome blog post should look like. If we were going out to breakfast, or meeting up to take a walk, I would welcome you with open arms and a big giant hug! Sadly, words on a screen can't quite do the same thing.

But if you can, think of this little post as a virtual warm hug with a smile on my face. I am truly happy you are here. I am thankful that you would enter into my world of vulnerability, and I hope that someday, I can jump into your world as well.

Women have so many great and powerful things to say, and the internet is a great place to share stories and connect, but sometimes it can feel horribly unsafe. I hope and pray that this place will become a safe place for you to discuss opinions, ask advice, and maybe even challenge your intellect, while still feeling so very loved and valued.
